GoaL
I began this research project with the idea of allowing adventurers to find the next destination they have yet to discover while allowing new people find things to do if they don’t know where to start.
This project strives to be a functional mobile software that allows a wide audience to easily use the features offered. The ease of navigation and softness of colors allow people to use the software at any point of time and quickly if they need to find a new spot.

User Journey Flow

Task Flow

To better understand the client and product, I began with understanding what they would like their target goals to be. Then, I started drafting user journey and user task flows for further research and end goal.
WIREFRAMING
Task: Find and favorite a dessert restaurant on the app.
For the wireframe, it went through many waves and testing for any viable errors and preferences that target the audience and new consumers. The navigations and a precise filtering system for the search category is included in the wireframe. After it was edited and refined for easy navigation, I began creating visual elements and branding elements to the wireframe.

COACHMARKS
After finalization, I provided coachmarks for the user in order to help them navigate through the application and allow them to understand how to get to their task.
CHALLENGES
Embarking on the project, I had to navigate the variety of places and things to do that people would enjoy. I looked at people with families, older and younger age groups, and friendships. With thinking about these type of audiences, I left the challenge of people who do not enjoy doing activities with others and rather, themselves. To consider as well, many people do not have the financial means for certain activities to attend.
After reevaluating and continuous research to allow more users to use the app, I created more search and filter options that allows more than a select group of people.
SUCCESSES
In order to call this project a success, the application needs to be functional and appeal to the user’s eye. This project would need to be able to begin with a user task of being able to sign in the app, use the search filter to search for a dessert shop, and favorite the dessert shop.
This app needs to serve to an audience that will be able to find many different places to shop, eat, and do with or without a person in mind and with their own budget.
